Appointment of Lucas Vos as Chair of the BDR Thermea Shareholder Board

We are pleased to announce that Lucas Vos has been appointed Chair of the BDR Thermea Shareholder, effective 24 April 2026.

Lucas joined the Shareholder Board on 1 September 2025 and was unanimously selected as Chair by its current members. He will succeed Henk ten Hove, who has served in this role since 2014 and is now completing his final term. The formal handover took place at our Annual Meeting in April 2026.

Lucas brings extensive international leadership experience, having held multiple CEO and Board positions across global organisations. He currently holds several non‑executive roles with strong societal impact. His previous positions include serving as CEO of Royal FloraHolland and as a member of the Dutch Senate. His current roles include Chair of ANWB and Aidsfonds, and he is a partner at De Bestuurskamer. Lucas is also a Harvard alumnus.

The BDR Thermea Shareholder is the sole shareholder of BDR Thermea Group. Its mission is to ensure the long‑term continuity of the company, safeguard its assets, and support social impact initiatives linked to education, sustainability and the energy transition.
