As Europe moves towards a decarbonised heating system, electrification is emerging as a key solution. We have developed a boiler designed to run entirely on hydrogen, thereby offering an alternative approach. Just as compact as natural gas condensing boilers, it fits into every home. And with similar installation procedures, it doesn’t require extra training for installers.
The pioneering technology is a major step for decarbonising heating. By using pure hydrogen as fuel, the system can provide both space heating and domestic hot water without CO₂ emissions. When hydrogen is produced from renewable energy sources, it has the potential to deliver completely zero-emission heating.
At present, our hydrogen boiler is available for selected field trials and validation programmes that we run together with utility companies, gas grid providers and local or national governments.
